Sub System IV : Valve Operation

a. Valves at the delivery of the pump : Valves at the delivery of the pump are normally maintained in the closed condition till the pump is able to reach a preset pressure point. On reaching the same the valve will be opened. The reverse process would be followed during shut down.

b. Valves at the distribution header : The valves at the distribution header if any are operated as per the feedback of various tanks / treatment plants or on basis of timing or both as the case may be
